Food Photography – The Moment Before the First Bite
Because good food deserves its portrait.

 

Apart from filmmaking and photography, cooking has always been one of my personal passions.

Many of the dishes shown here were prepared in my own kitchen and photographed as part of my food photography practice. I often cook the dishes myself, plate them, and then build a simple lighting setup to photograph them.

 

Approaching food photography from both the cooking and the visual side gives me a different perspective. Understanding ingredients, textures, and timing helps me capture the moment when a dish looks its best.

 

These photographs are part personal exploration and part portfolio for food photography and culinary-related projects.
